Tonight was a ladies only match.  There was a good turnout, considering the weather.  Thanks to
Pam Pierce for helping run it, and to the other guys who helped out scoring and pasting.

This wasn't meant to be a competition, it was meant to spike interest in self defense shooting
among women.  On Friday nights, we only have a few women that shoot with us, and we'd like to see
that change.  For most of the women that came tonight, this was their first time shooting in this
type of 'action shooting'. 

After the match was over, all the SO's and a couple of husbands that came by stayed and shot the
same match.  Two of the ladies also stayed and reshot the match with us.  I listed the scores for
the ladies only first, and then for everybody else below that.

STAGE 1:  BASIC SKILL DRILLS
Two targets at 3 yards
String 1:  Two shots each
String 2:  Two body shots each, then one head shot each

 
STAGE 2:  MUGGING
While crossing the street, you are approached by two thugs who pull out knives 
as they reach you.  Start at arms length to T-1 and T-2, then draw and engage each 
with at least two shots each, while moving backwards.


STAGE 3:  ATM ATTACK
While at the ATM getting money, you hear from behind you, someone say they are going
to take your money and kill you.  Start with back to targets (5 yards), on signal, turn 
around and engage the two targets that have weapons.


STAGE 4:  GANG ATTACK
While walking along, you are attacked by several armed thugs.  Start in front of T-1 and 
T-2 (3 yards).  On signal, draw engage both targets with at least two shots.  Then move to 
cover, and engage T-3 (5 yards) from around the side of the barricade.
